The City of San Fernando recently drafted design guidelines. The guidelines
are intended to encourage a high quality of design for new developments and
property renovations.
The guidelines do not represent specific development standards but instead
provide a framework for preferred architectural treatments, construction designs
and landscaping schemes. If adopted by the City Council, the guidelines will
be used to assess proposals that require development permits.
